On nine floors, each covering an area of around 300 to 400 square metres, offices will be built in the new OTTO headquarters as multi-space, i.e. as an open space without permanently assigned workstations.
The fischer group of companies is also involved in the project, whose FIS RC vinyl ester hybrid system is used for the subsequent reinforcement connection in concrete. “Our fastening solution impressed the contracted construction company because it is both safe and economical,” says Arne Saggau, responsible application engineer in the field service of the fischer group of companies.
Our fastening solution convinced the contracted contractor because it is safe and economical at the same time.
The RebarConnect FIS RC is European rated (ETA) and approved by the building authorities for retrofitting reinforcement connections with bars with a diameter of 8 to 32 mm and an embedding depth of up to 3,000 mm. The approval regulates hammer and compressed air drilled holes. The short open and drying times of the FIS RC speed up the work progress. Depending on the minus to plus degrees in the anchoring base (-15°C to +40°C), the processing times range from 1 h to 2 min and the curing times from 36 h to 30 min.
All in all, the fastening solution for subsequent reinforcement connections reduces workload and financial expenses while also ensuring high safety – contributing to the safe, fast and economical construction of the spatial starting point for the working world of the future.
