The offline version will be discontinued in the foreseeable future – this will happen automatically via an update, without you having to uninstall or switch anything yourself. In the online version, all previous functionalities are available to you, supplemented by additional options such as organizing and storing project-related documents directly in the cloud – accessible anytime with just a few clicks and completely free of charge.

Yes. Project files from the offline version can be uploaded and further used in C-FIX Online – so you do not have to start from scratch. Since the online version always calculates based on the current standards, there may be slightly different results in places where older design methods were previously used. This is not a cause for concern, but rather a gain in safety: your design is thus consistently based on the current normative status.

Calculations are performed server-side. As a rule, saved projects remain intact even in the event of a connection loss and can be easily reopened and recalculated once the connection is restored. For short-term situations that can occur during browser operation – such as an accidental page reload – FiXperience Online additionally uses a browser cache: your current design details are temporarily stored within the session, so nothing is lost during a minor reload. Nevertheless, it is recommended to save intermediate results regularly – our training videos show the best way to do this.
