The method of fixing horizontal and vertical pipes

Individual fastening of pipes is selected when one or 2 pipes are laid. The attachment is then made directly to the substrate by means of dowels/anchors, stud bolts or threaded rods and pipe clamps, and can be used for horizontal and vertical pipes.
If 3 or more pipes are laid in parallel, it is recommended that they be attached together using mounting rails. These can be attached directly to the subfloor or fixed to the ceiling, wall or floor as a frame construction. These solutions can also be used for horizontal and vertical piping.
As an alternative to the mounting rails, jib brackets can also be used, which are preferably fastened to the wall to fasten one or more horizontal lines. In general, all types of line routing must also be fastened to steel structures using support clamps, etc. possible."

Typical process flow for fastening horizontal and vertical pipelines

Secure pipe fastening is possible with components from FLS, FUS or FMS mounting rail systems. In addition, pipe clamps must be selected depending on the application and load level as well as the necessary accessories such as stud bolts, threaded rods and DIN standard parts. There is also a suitable dowel or anchor for the application.

Second stage: Selection and, if necessary, calculation of the individual fastening with pipe clamps or the rail structure

Based on the determined loads and the arrangement in the structure or on the mounting rails, load-optimised pipe clamps, mounting rails and accessories can be selected and, if necessary, calculated with the InstallFix software.

3rd step: Compilation & installation of the required application solutions

The required mounting rails are fastened using the structural elements and accessories specified in. The connection to the substrate is made with the suitable dowels or anchors in plug-in or plug-through installation.
