fischer SolarMetal L is a rail made of AW 6063 T66 aluminum for the construction of structures for photovoltaic systems on corrugated sheet metal roofs. The section is optimized for fixing along the rib of the sheet, allowing the assembly of photovoltaic panels with landscape orientation (long side orthogonal to the greeks). Available in rod or in pre-drilled pieces with pre-assembled EPDM to optimize the structure for any plant size. Compatible with both ALG rivets and Solar-Screw EPDM self-drilling screws. Compatible with the whole fischer module clamp portfolio as well as with the Terragrif.

Properties

Aluminium alloy EN AW 6060 T66 in accordance with EN 755-2:2013.
EPDM rubber gasket, 2 mm thick.

Functionality

Choose the most suitable installation between rod profile or in pieces.
For rod profiles, define the distance between the ALG rivets or Solar-Screws according to the snow and wind loads of the installation area.
For the profiles in pieces, choose the version of appropriate length according to the snow and wind loads of the installation area.
For rod profiles, place a layer of butyl tape between the rail and the corrugated sheet (the profiles in pieces have already a pre-assembled layer of EPDM).
When using profile in rods, pre-drill both the rail and the sheet with a diameter of 5.5 mm
When using profiles in pieces, pre-drill the sheet through the designated pre-holes. Apply a rivet to each pre-drill.
