Advantages

The stepped countersunk head is as easy to sink as a standard countersunk head, while its larger diameter provides higher pull-out strength.
A higher thread pitch means significantly quicker installation.
Three ribs at the tip ensure a quick bite into the wood, reducing the need for pre-drilling.
The shank-miller combined with the optimized core diameter geometry minimizes the torque required during installation.
Suitable for use with fischer wall plugs (e.g. DuoPower and UX) at the recommended loads.
5.0 mm diameter screws come with a TX25 drive for improved driving and reduced cam-out.

Applications

Designed for load-bearing timber structures, for connecting solid wood components and engineered wood elements (e.g. glued-laminated and cross-laminated timber).
Ideal for fastening metal parts to wood (e.g. metal fittings, angle brackets, beam hangers and similar metal-to-wood connections).
Suitable for use with fischer wall plugs at their recommended load capacities.
