Horizontal profiles for cassette solutions
The horizontal profiles of the ATK106 SZ20 subframe system for ventilated rainscreen façades are made of aluminum. They enable the concealed installation of metal cassettes. In addition, the loads from the façade appearing from the cassettes are transferred via the horizontal profiles to the vertical level of the system. The cassettes are fixed in the joints on the horizontal profiles using system rivets or self-drilling screws. To allow the thermal expansion of the profile, a differentiation is made between slotted holes (sliding points) and fixed points (round holes) during assembly. The profiles are available in 6 m lengths as standard.
