The fischer Primer PU is a solvent mixture for the surface pretreatment of substructures or facade panels prior to the application of Panel Bond PU. The Primer PU is used on porous materials (e.g., wood or stone), strengthens the surface of the materials, and ensures an ideal bond to the adhesive. In addition to its use on facades, the Primer PU can be used to strengthen and improve adhesion in a wide variety of other applications and substrates. The Primer PU is primarily suitable for absorbent substrates, but can also be used on non-absorbent substrates depending on the material. Suitable substrates include various stainless steels, many aluminum alloys, many composite materials (e.g., CFRP, GRP), concrete, wood, and other absorbent substrates. The Primer PU leaves a readily visible bluish, fluorescent film.
